Prospective Leaders are expected to submit the following documents:
- Birth certificate of the child
- Two (2) recent passport photographs
- Data page of international passport (for foreign applicants)

- Report sheet and transfer certificate from previous school
The admission form is obtainable from the school office and comes attached to the school prospectus. Completed forms must be submitted with all supporting documents before the assessment date.
Assessment & Interview
At JNISSI, we believe in identifying both ability and attitude.
- Junior Secondary entrants (JS1–JS2) will be tested in English Language, Mathematics, and Basic Science.
- Senior Secondary entrants (SS1–SS2) will sit for subject-specific tests relevant to their intended study path (Science, Arts, or Social Sciences).
In addition to the written assessments, interviews will explore personal discipline, communication, problem-solving skills, and leadership potential.
The Principal and selected faculty members will evaluate both academic performance and overall disposition to ensure a holistic admission process.

At the end of the third year, Year 9 (JSS 3) your child will sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) conducted by the National Examinations Council as well as the Cambridge Checkpoint Examination.
This is the arm that caters for the next 3years after the Junior Secondary School. Proceeding to this arm largely depends on the performance at the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The subjects offered in the Senior Secondary School are as follows; in line with the current Nigerian Curriculum for Senior Secondary Education.

All the core subjects are compulsory for all students to take. Students in Year 10 (SS1) are to take a minimum of ten (10) subjects.
Students in SS3 should drop one or more electives for a minimum of nine (9) subjects to be taken in their final exams.
List of entrepreneurial subjects to choose from is discussed with the Principal during career counselling.
The results of the BECE mainly determines whether a student shall be in the Science, Arts or Commercial class at the senior secondary level after the students’ future and personal interest have been taken into consideration and proper counselling given based on documentary evidence of performance and interest.
Students are compelled to offer all subjects in the first term of their SSS 1 and their performance concludes the process of departmentalization – where students are allocated to their different classes and departments.
At the end of the sixth year, SSS students will sit for Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations of the above-mentioned Examination bodies i.e. WAEC, NECO and interested students also have the opportunity to register for Cambridge IGSCE conducted by the British Council.
It is in the plans of the Board to have a strong relationship with reputable schools abroad for Annual Exchange Programme. This will afford our students the opportunities of meeting students of other nationalities outside the shores of Nigeria.
INTENSIVE TUITION
Intensive tuition ensures that students become thoroughly familiar with all aspects of the syllabus. At JNissi High School, students receive a minimum of six hours of tuition per day. In addition, students are expected to follow up on their work by completing assignments and studying using textbooks, notebooks, Laptop computers and the internet.
Online study is an integral part of our offering. Our educators and students are engaged daily online for digital transfer of knowledge and our students have a platform to collaborate and share academic experiences.
Practical hand-on experience is embedded in all our teaching and learning process and our students study to know how things work and how things are done.
We operate an elementary Christian school where we integrate the British and the Nigerian curricula.
